How to Play Red DogThe Red Dog Poker game is probably the simplest variety of poker. It is also sometimes named "In Between". The game starts with dealer dealing two cards to the player, then the player bets on the possibility that a third card has a value intermediate between the first two. If the third card value is "in between" the player wins, otherwise he or she loses or ties. To play the Red Dog Poker game, simply take the following steps: First: Make your bet.
You should start playing Red Dog by placing a wager in
the betting circle. To do this, click the left button of your mouse on the chip you
want to bet, in the lower part of your screen. You can click on
any chip any number of times, provided the total amount of
the bet is under $100. Each time you click on a chip,
you add that chip to your wager and your balance is decreased
in an amount equal to the chip value. The minimum bet in Red Dog is $1 and
the maximum bet is $100. You can always see the amount wagered
as the number showing over the bet in the bet circle. Second: Deal cards. Click on the "DEAL" button, which is activated once the bet is made. The machine deals you two cards, one at the left and another at the right, leaving the central potion empty. Third: Decide about doubling the bet or not. This is the central part of the Red Dog game. The dealer announces what the "Spread" is, this meaning the number of cards with values intermediate between the lowest and highest card. For example, if the first card is a two and the second card is an eight, the spread is 5 (the cards 3,4,5,6 and 7). The spread gives you indirectly the probability of the third card being in between the first two and win the hand. The approximate probability is the spread divided by 13. If you think that you have good chances of winning, you can double the bet and maximize your winnings. Fourth and Last: Deal last card.
If you decided to double your bet, click on the "RISE" button, otherwise click
on the "DEAL" button again. This will bring you the third card
and the hand is over. If you win, the Red Dog machine gives you your prize
automatically and increments your balance accordingly. If not, it
will take out the bet. Sound The Red Dog game is loaded in silent mode. To activate sound, click on the "Sound" button located at the lower left part of the screen. It will take a few seconds to load the sound files. The sound will stay active while the "Sound" button remains depressed.
