How to Play
Deuces Wild Video Poker
To play Deuces Wild
Video Poker, simply take the following steps:
First: Choose the value of your coins
Video
poker is played with 25¢, 50¢ and $1 coins. You can
choose any coin value by clicking the left mouse button
on the preferred coin in the lower part of the screen.
The coin selection can be made whenever the red
"Insert Coin" arrow is showing. The selected coin
is illuminated.
Second: Make your bet
To make
your bet, click on the coin receiver slot on the lower
right. You can click up to five times, each click adding
a new coin to your bet. The minimum bet is 25¢ (one
click with the 25¢ chip selected). The maximum bet is $5
(five consecutive clicks with the $1 coin selected). Coins
of different value cannot be mixed in the same wager.
After the first hand, you can speed up the process of
making a multiple coin bet by clicking once on the
"Repeat Bet" button. This places, with only one
click, a new bet of the same value as the last one.
Third: Play
your hand
To start
the game, click on the "DEAL" button, which is
activated once the bet is made. The machine deals you
five cards.
Fourth: Select
your cards
You will
have a second round of cards and you form the final poker
hand by keeping some of these first five cards and
replacing the bad ones with new cards of the second
"draw" round. To keep a card you click the
mouse on the "HOLD" button below that card. A
"Held" mark is visible under the preserved
cards. All the cards that do not show the
"Held" mark under it will be discarded and
replaced with new ones. Remember that in this game the
four deuces are wild cards, that is, you can use a deuce
as if it were any card that better suits your hand.
Therefore, deuces are the most valuable cards and you
will always want to hold them.
Fifth and Last:
Form your final hand
Click on
the "DRAW" button. All the unheld (discarded)
cards are replaced by new ones and the final hand is
formed. If you succeed in making a winning hand, you will
see the prize flashing on the screen, while your winnings
drop into the coin bucket, and your account is
automatically increased by the amount of the prize.
Sound
The game is loaded
in silent mode. To activate sound, click on the
"Sound" button located at the lower part of the
screen. It will take a few seconds to load the sound
files and you will hear them as they are being loaded.
The sound will stay active while the "Sound"
button remains depressed. A second mouse click on this
button will release it and return to silent mode.
Prizes
Prizes are
paid in coins of the same value of the coins wagered and
are listed on the machine screen. For the same hand,
prizes increase accordingly with the number of coins
betted. For example, a natural Royal Flush will win 400 coins
of 25¢ value ($125) if the bet was one 25¢ coin, while
the same hand would win 5000 coins of 1$ value ($5000) if
the bet was 5 $1 chips.
Odds
There is
an element of skill in video poker: Decisions of which
cards to keep must be made which, unlike other slot
machines, will determine whether and how much you can
win. The poker machines at the 4 Jacks Casino
conform to the rules and payoff regulations found in Las
Vegas and casinos around the world.
