Rules for
Deuces Wild Video Poker
What the game is
The game
of Deuces Wild Video Poker is a five-card draw poker
played with one standard poker deck of 52 cards, which is
reshuffled at the beginning of each hand. Cards are dealt in
two rounds. In the first round, the machine deals you
five cards, then you select what cards to keep for the
final hand and what cards to discard. You can discard or
keep up to the five cards. Once selected what cards to
keep or "hold", comes the second round in which
you draw from the deck as many cards as discarded, and
the new cards are combined with the held ones to form the
final hand. If the this final hand is a winning one, it is awarded
a prize according to the table below.
The Four Deuces Are Wildcards
This is to
say that a deuce can be used as if it were any other card
that better suits the hand. Any number of deuces in
the same hand are valid. As a consequence, high ranking
poker hands are much more frequent than in plain poker.
Object of the Game
The object
of the game is to form the highest possible winning poker
hand. All winning hands and their payoffs are listed on
the machine and explained below.
Bets
Deuces Wild Video Poker is played with 25¢, 50¢ and $1
chips (coins). You can bet any number of coins between
one and five. Chips of different value cannot be mixed in
the same wager.
Prizes
Prizes are
paid in coins of the same value of the coins wagered and
are listed on the machine screen. For the same hand,
prizes increase accordingly with the number of coins
betted. For example, a natural Royal Flush will win 400 coins
of 25¢ value ($125) if the bet was one 25¢ coin, while
the same hand would win 5000 coins of 1$ value ($5000) if
the bet was five $1 coins.

Odds
There's an
element of skill in draw video poker: Decisions of which
cards to keep must be made which, unlike other slot
machines, will determine whether and how much you can
win. The poker machines at the 4 Jacks Casino
conform to the rules and payoff regulations found in Las
Vegas and casinos around the world.
